Bybit Exchange KYC Certification Method
After signing up, install the Bybit app from the Google Play Store or App Store and log in. Once you log in, click on the icon in the upper left corner to go to My Page.
You need to complete your KYC certification first to trade smoothly and be able to deposit and withdraw coins. You don't need to do it until Lv2, and Lv1 is sufficient.
I have already completed Lv.1 and it is active, but if you haven't done KYC yet, there will be a button that says 'Verify Now.'
When you click the button:
- Select your country of residence
- Choose between Passport/ID Card/Driver License and take a photo of your ID
- After taking a photo of your ID, press the Selfie button and take a photo of yourself with your face inside the circle.
This completes the KYC certification. If the ID is well captured without any reflection, and your face is well taken, KYC certification will be completed in about 5-10 minutes without any problems.
Bybit Exchange Security Management Method
Although it may be easy to weaken the security level because it is a hassle to open and close the smartphone, we should put the security in place as our coins and our money are precious. First, click on Security on My Page, and various security methods will appear. I have set up Google OTP, pattern lock, and fingerprint lock. When you press pattern, you set the pattern twice, and you register your own fingerprint for fingerprint as well.
For Google OTP, you can find the Google OTP app in the Play Store (App Store) as shown in the left photo. After installing it, press the + button and press the setting key input, then enter the Bybit setting key. Although it may be a little inconvenient, it is recommended to set up this Google OTP because it is essential.
